  • This project is the new Glasshouse for the University of Melbourne located within the heart of the Parkville campus beside the historic System Garden.

    Staff and students of the School of Biological Sciences and the Faculty of Veterinary & Agricultural Sciences jointly conduct leading international research into plant propagation and plant pathology.

    This research is carried out in six Glasshouse Areas and eight Climate Controlled Rooms, all designed to PC2 and QC2 standards, and fully serviced by automated systems for air handling, heating and cooling, irrigation / fertigation, sun-shading, gases and grow lighting.

    The project was completed mid 2020.
