Connections UnitingCare

This office building is a workplace in Narre Warren for the organization Connections which is an agency of the Uniting Church involved in social welfare programmes.

The work spaces have been organised in a linear arrangement maximising northern sunlight to the interior and providing an outlook to a number of mature trees along the northern site boundary.

The open plan work spaces are delineated by three individual offices which create open work areas of four different sizes to allow the flexibility of floor area to accommodate different sized work teams.

The site slope provided the opportunity to articulate the spaces on three different floor levels with the faceted north wall being used as a visual device avoiding the work space interiors appearing as boxes and relating more closely to the landscape setting in which it is placed.
