  • The fitout of the southern wing on Level 1 of the Mary Glowrey Building, 115 Victoria Parade provides a new student hub for the university.

The principal area along the eastern façade is a student breakout lounge where students can relax, meet with other students or staff and study in an informal environment.

The staff accommodated in the new fitout are engaged in student services through the Office of Student Services, Student Engagement Services and Jim Baa Yer representing the Centre for Indigenous Education & Research in Victoria.

This area also comprises seven consulting rooms for student counselling, three new tutorial rooms and a space for indigenous students to gather in a private, culturally aware environment known as the Jim Baa Yer breakout space.

Two large general learning areas have been refurbished as part of this project as well as a complete renovation of the services core toilet facilities.
