This project involved the fit out of part of an existing building to provide a new Physical Containment Level 2 (PC2) laboratory, a sealed and cleanable environment where organisms can be safely handled, and two student science laboratories.

One of the student laboratories has a dual purpose and caters for two departments, the Orthotics Science department and the Education department. Harmer Architecture resolved the differing requirements of each department though clever planning of a constrained space, and have transformed the areas into vibrant and functional laboratories.
